Students learn in a friendly relaxed atmosphere
from accomplished instructors. We instruct step- by- step, emphasizing basic principals, balance and movement. Classes begin with a warm up. Bow stance walking is stressed in the first few weeks to improve one’s balance. Health, body alignment and philosophy are all blended in to the classroom each week. Principles and Form are repeated so that the students can relax and learn. Each move is related to something you do in your everyday life to help you understand the moves.  The martial aspect of the moves are demonstrated so you can understand the intent of the moves. Health benefits are explained. All classes are taught in English with the flavor of China. A body alignment meditation ends the class, which is a moment of tranquility in our ever so hectic world. Some students seek private instructions to supplement their training in class or to learn a new/advanced form.  Private or small group instructions are available by appointment. No special expensive clothes are required.  Comfortable clothes with non- marking soles Walking/tennis shoes preferred. Bottled water is allowed in class. We never drink enough water.
